Linux is a generic term referring to Unix-like computer operating systems based on the Linux kernel, predominantly known for its use in servers. Well-known Linux distributions include Debian, Fedora, openSUSE, Red Hat and Ubuntu.

Perl is a high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language. Perl is nicknamed "the Swiss Army chainsaw of programming languages" due to its flexibility and adaptability.

MySQL is a relational database management system (RDBMS) that runs as a server providing multi-user access to a number of databases.

Postfix is a free and open-source mail transfer agent (MTA) that routes and delivers electronic mail. It is intended as a fast, easier-to-administer, and secure alternative to the widely-used Sendmail MTA.

Catalyst is an open source web application framework written in Perl, that closely follows the model-view-controller (MVC) architecture, and supports a number of experimental web patterns. It is written using Moose, a modern object system for Perl. It's heavily inspired by such frameworks as Ruby on Rails, Maypole, and Spring.

The Perl DBI (DataBase Interface) offers a standardized way for programmers using the Perl programming language to embed database communication within their programs.

pfSense is a FreeBSD-based firewall tailored for use as a firewall and router.

Ext JS is a cross-browser JavaScript framework for rich web apps.

Zimbra is a full-featured collaboration suite that supports email and group calendars using an Ajax web interface that enables tool tips, drag-and-drop items, and right-click menus in the UI.
