About Okanagan Technology Solutions
Okanagan Technology Solutions provides I.T. solutions to clients in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, with an emphasis on Kelowna, Vernon and Penticton. Our Technical Lead is Murray Nesbitt, who has been designing, architecting, programming, administrating, maintaining and otherwise working with computers, databases, networks and web sites for two decades. His industry experience includes senior development roles at two prominent Unix vendors--SCO and IBM, as well as being one of the first employees at Perl powerhouse ActiveState, where he wrote the Perl Package Manager (PPM). He has been involved with Linux since 1992, is an instructor for the Solaris CSA certification, and has had significant exposure to almost every important software technology of the last two decades -- from Apache to Zimbra and everything in between. He holds an Advanced B.Sc. degree in Computational Science and is a Sun Solaris Certified System Administrator. His full resume is available in PDF format or HTML format.
